Northamptonshire Natural History Society

Archaeology & History Section

Section President
Cyril Sampson
Section Secretary
Richard Young

The Archaeology & History Section is biased towards the latter. No Archaeological investigation is currently being undertaken, although visits, are made to local sites where work is in progress.

During the year, we host a series of talks and lectures by both resident and guest speakers on a wide range of subject matters, such as stone circles to Edward Lear, from the Romans to the Incas, and from medieval life to Victorian buildings, although most of the subjects relate to Northamptonshire.

All are welcome to our meetings. Please click here for more details.

Next meeting:

Wed, 08 Nov 2017, 14:30
A fresh look at a collection of films about our county, including a famous film made by Anglia television at the time of the development of the new town.
