Planets Beyond Our Solar System and the Planetary Transits and Oscillations of stars (PLATO) Mission.
This is a European Space Agency space observatory that will use a group of photometers to discover and characterize rocky extrasolar planets of all sizes around red dwarf stars, yellow dwarf stars like our Sun, and sub-giant stars where water can exist in liquid state. What will it tell us about our universe?
